Read Across America Week

Read Across America Week is an annual celebration of reading. The initiative aims to motivate children and teens to celebrate the joys of reading and build a lifelong habit of literacy. Here at the K–1 campus, we hosted daily themed activities, some of which included:

Guest Readers: Local athletes, firefighters, or community leaders visiting classrooms to read aloud.
Character Dress-Up: Students dressing as their favorite book characters.
Pajama Day: A favorite tradition where students wear cozy pajamas to school to “curl up with a good book.”
