Field Day is a highly anticipated, annual all-school event that serves as an active celebration to mark the end of the school year. It provides kindergarten and first-grade scholars a fun opportunity to build school spirit, show off class pride, and participate in a wide variety of collaborative physical activities. The Charter’s k-1 campus held their Field Day at the legendary Hinchcliff Stadium. Specific activities were coordinated by Mr. Rebels, our physical education teacher. There was a full rotation of classic field day events. Standard and past favorites include:
- Classic Races: Potato sack races and scooter relay races.
- Skill Games: Ring tossing and creative station tasks like poster making.
- The Grand Finale: The traditional, highly competitive tug-of-war match to wrap up the day’s events.
- Special Attractions: Large blow-up installations such as bouncy houses for the children to enjoy.
