Core subjects across all grade levels, along with a variety of electives, are currently available. Additional courses and updates will be added throughout the school year.
A successful curriculum must be responsive to students’ needs and prepare them with the knowledge and skills required for lifelong success. Therefore, the sequence of units may vary depending on classroom needs. Teachers may also introduce new learning activities as they enhance and adapt their instruction, some of which may not be included in these documents.

18A:35-4.7. Parent’s statement of conflict with conscience
Any child whose parent or guardian presents to the school principal a signed statement that any part of the instructions in health, family life education or sex education is in conflict with his conscience, or sincerely held moral or religious beliefs shall be excused from that portion of the course where such instruction is being given and no penalties as to credit or graduation shall result therefrom.
