PCSST STEM Department has hosted three different STEM Family nights.
STEM Family Night is an evening of hands-on science, math, and engineering activities for students and families to complete together. The event included activities covering different STEM topics and connections to exciting STEM careers.
PCSST STEM Family Nights were awesome! They generated excitement for STEM in our school community by allowing students, teachers, and families to explore STEM together in a fun way.
PCSST hosted the first STEM Night on February 7th, where grade K-1 students built popsicle flashlights, the second STEM Night on February 16th, where grade 2-3 students made paper cup helicopters, and the last STEM Night on February 23rd, where grades 4-7 students designed a 3D nametag keychains. PCSST STEM Nights have reached over 50 participants.
