Spanish Field Trip

The show that our scholars went to see is called “HISPANIA-AMERICAN”, this event took place at the

“Margaret Williams Theatre” at NJCU, Jersey City on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

This show highlights the rich culture and art of not only Latin American countries such as Cuba,

Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Argentina but also Spain feature flamenco performances in an immersive experience

that students were so happy to enjoy.

At the show’s end, The Hispanic Flamenco Ballet Production offered an interactive section where students went up to the stage and participate in choreographed group dances led by experienced staff.

The scholars enjoyed watching this live performance and they experienced a variety of cultural backgrounds followed by dance styles and forms from different Spanish-speaking countries. In the end, Mehkalie Jones went to the stage and had fun practicing some moves with the professional dancers.
