PCSST Athletics proudly hosted the 5th Annual “Serving Up the Season” Boys Volleyball Tournament, bringing together a talented and competitive group of programs from across the region. Participating schools included Paterson Arts, JFK, Vernon, Passaic Charter, Eagle Academy, BeLoved Charter, and College Achieve, all coming together for a full day of high-level play, sportsmanship, and community.
From the opening serve to the final point, the tournament lived up to its name—serving as a true celebration of unity through athletics. The energy in the gym was electric, with student-athletes competing with passion while also demonstrating respect for one another and the game. Events like this continue to highlight the power of educational-based athletics, where competition and character go hand in hand.
While the results did not fall in PCSST’s favor this year, the Lions showed resilience and growth throughout the day. A key highlight was an impressive in-season victory over Eagle Academy of Newark, showcasing the team’s potential and determination moving forward.
After a long and competitive day, the tournament concluded with Passaic Charter earning the title of Champions, followed by BeLoved Charter in 2nd place, and JFK finishing 3rd overall.
Beyond the scores and standings, the true success of the day was the sense of unity, pride, and shared experience among all programs involved. PCSST Athletics remains committed to providing meaningful opportunities like this—where student-athletes can compete, connect, and grow both on and off the court.
