Read Across America Trip

On March 4th the Trendsetters and National Honors Society students went down to the K-1 and 2-3 campuses to kick off the Read Across America Week. Monday, March 4 was superhero day at the campuses so the high schoolers showed up with the superhero capes ready to go! The elementary students were extremely excited. Groups of three were assigned to different classrooms where they read and organized an activity related to the book afterward. The students were able to spend time with the elementary students and get to know them.

At the 2-3 campus the Trendsetters and NHS scholars had a treat and were able to play outside for recess with the students during lunch. It was an amazing trip and all of the students had an amazing time.
