Poetry Slam

On Friday, May 19, 2023, PCSST held its annual Poetry Slam organized by the ELA department. The Poetry Slam was a host to 18 finalists from grades 5-7 who wrote and recited narrative poems on the following topics: life lessons learned or experiences that make you who you are. The assembly was a great success, and all students got to witness the creativity of their finalist classmates. A winner was selected for each grade level 5-7. Congrats to our winners:

5th-grade – Anthony Gonzalez Santana

6th-grade – Andrea Alvarado-Gamarra

7th-grade – Nayomee Sanabria
