The Environmental Club went on their first field trip on Friday, September 27th, to the Great Swamp Watershed. Through hands-on stream monitoring and forest ecosystem assessments at the Floodplain Forest Conservation Area, students surveyed the site to build their understanding of how intact terrestrial and aquatic environments benefit water quantity and quality and sustain climate-resilient habitats. Very special thanks to Ms. Logue and Mrs. Damiano for being the club advisors, and to our chaperones, Nurse Mary, Mr. Roberts, and Mr. Perez.
