Waves Against Hunger Food Truck Festival
Our Wave Maker students are competing nationally in the Explore.Act.Tell. Challenge with Waves Against Hunger—a student-led food truck festival featuring approximately 20 international cuisines. On March 28th, 60+ students (grades 4-12) will manage this community event, raising funds to fight food insecurity. 100% of ticket proceeds benefit Oasis-A Haven for Women & Children. This authentic project-based learning experience teaches leadership, cultural competency, and civic engagement while making a real difference in our community.
