The Special Ed Department at the Wabash campus, held their first annual Black History Month Art Gallery. The Art Gallery consisted of diverse artwork from our scholars that represented Black History Month. We also had a BHM Logo competition where certain scholars created their own original, BHM Logo. The winner this year was Athena Burns from 6th grade. Her logo was put on a T-Shirt for winning the competition. We also held a HBCU Photo shoot during the Art Gallery. Our scholars were introduced to the history of multiple HBCUs schools (Historically Black College/University) & they created specific artwork that represented each HBCU school for the Photo shoot.
