Art Club Field Trip

Led by Mrs. Shayland and Ms. Tresierra, the talented 1st Grade Art Club took a creative journey to the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey! During their visit, students explored ETA: Rerouted, an exciting multimedia exhibition featuring works by Mollye Bendell, JLS Gangwisch, and Christopher Kojzar—members of the Baltimore-based collective, strikeWare. They also experienced Mark Montgomery: Past Paper Dreams, a vibrant collection of collages spanning 2018–2024.

Inspired by the artwork around them, students then got hands-on with two fun projects: designing colorful scratch art pieces and creating their very own collages with the guidance of artist Mr. M. It was an inspiring day of creativity, expression, and artistic discovery!

Flyer for a free event on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the PCSST High School Gymnasium. The design features photos of student dancers and guitarists, a sombrero graphic, and festive decorative banners.
