3rd Grade Art Club WPUNJ Field Trip

On Tuesday November 28th, 2024 the 3rd grade Art Club visited William Paterson University of New Jersey. During this trip, they were led by the 2-3 Art teacher and 3rd grade art club advisor Mr.DuBose and the 2-3 Professor in Residence Mrs. Shelia Sosis. While visiting WPUNJ, the students first participated in an interactive exploration of the Ben Shauhn art galleries which housed the artwork of Ben Jones. Next the students took a craft making class and created a Wishing Tree with the Ben Shaun Art Gallery staff. To conclude the trip the students had lunch at the college and even got to meet the artist, Ben Jones who is also a Paterson Native. This was truly an inspiring and memorable experience for the 2-3 Art Club students.
