Welcome to the Health Office
HELLO 2-6 PCSST PARENTS
Welcome to the health office page for the 2-6 PCSST Building!
My name is Mrs. Falcone and I'm the school nurse for your students. I have been a registered nurse for five and a half years and obtained my Bachelors in Science of Nursing at Rutgers University from Newark. Since college, I always knew that I wanted to work in Pediatrics with children. Prior to being a school nurse, I worked in Hackensack University Medical Center as a floor nurse. I started my nursing career on a cardiac floor working with patients to closely monitor their heart conditions and heart rhythms. After working there for one and a half years, I transferred to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital within Hackensack Hospital. I gained a multitude of experience working with critically ill children for two and a half years in my time on the intensive care unit. From there, I started working as a school nurse in PCSST and it's a privilege to be your school nurse.
Here at PCSST, we want to encourage our student's parents to be an active participant in the health of their children. Many research studies have shown that healthier students are better learners. The healthier your children are, the more they will be able to learn information in school. Not only do we want them in school, but we want them healthy in school so they can get the most from their classes. We want to partner with you to keep your children healthy and safe so they can learn and grow into literate and model citizens.
On this webpage you will find our school's health policies and forms you may need to help keep your child, other students, and staff members in PCSST healthy and safe! Please make sure to click through the following pages to familiarize yourself with the health policies we follow at our campus and to find additional resources that may be helpful to you. You may download the forms that we have uploaded to the website so that you can have instant access to our school health documents.
As always for any health matters, questions or concerns, I am here to help and assist as much as possible. Please feel free to contact me at my following contact information:
