Health Office

HELLO K-1 PCSST PARENTS

Welcome to the Health Office page for the K-1 PCSST Building!

My name is Mrs. Bewighouse, “Mrs. B’, and I'm the school nurse for your students. I have been a Registered Nurse for twenty one years, and I am a mother of three grown children.

I started my nursing career at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville on the Oncology Unit and also worked as a Medical-Surgical nurse. I have experience as a Pediatric and Adult Home Care Nurse, Hospice Nursing, and Camp Nursing with children ages 5 to 14 years of age.  I have substituted in my town’s school district when my children were young, and this is my second year in school nursing and my First at PCSST!

Here at PCSST, we want to encourage our student's parents to be an active participant in the health of their children. Many research studies have shown that healthier students are better learners. The healthier your children are, the more they will be able to learn information in school. Not only do we want them in school, but we want them healthy in school so they can get the most from their classes. We want to partner with you to keep your children healthy and safe so they can learn and grow into literate and model citizens.

On this webpage you will find our school's health policies and forms you may need to help keep your child, other students, and staff members in PCSST healthy and safe! Please make sure to click through the following pages to familiarize yourself with the health policies we follow at our campus and to find additional resources that may be helpful to you. You may download the forms that we have uploaded to the website so that you can have instant access to our school health documents.

I am here to help and assist as much as possible in any health matters, questions or concerns. Please feel free to contact me at my following contact information:
