Congratulations to the PCSST team on earning an outstanding 2nd place at the Passaic County Teen Summit!
Competing against schools from across the county, our students truly exemplified this year’s theme, “Generation Glow: The Light Adults Don’t Always See,” which focused on highlighting the overlooked strengths, talents, and resilience of today’s youth.
The event, hosted at William Paterson University by the Passaic County Department of Human Services, in collaboration with United for Prevention in Passaic County, brought youth leaders together from all over the region. Throughout the summit, our students participated in invaluable networking sessions and learned critical strategies for promoting youth mental health, leadership, and community wellness.
Our award-winning 30-second PSA perfectly captured the “invisible drive” of our student body, taking the audience on a powerful narrative journey. The video beautifully showcased the diverse talents and qualities of our school—from academic focus and robotics to civic engagement and peer support—moving from individual vulnerability to the collective, high-energy strength of our students. It concluded with a triumphant reminder that together, our youth are never alone and are true changemakers.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their creativity, dedication, and outstanding representation of PCSST! Your light truly shines!
