Spanish Field Trip to Seton Hall University

Hi: Good afternoon to all of you.

The Seton Hall University Field Trip provides PCSST students with the resources and information they need when applying to colleges. The students learned about the different scholarships that the university offers for incoming students.

Also, they had the experience of hearing stories from college students who shared their stories about how they were offered a whole ride to attend the university and how they felt about being in college. The university provides different clubs that help students socialize and find a place to make it home. The Latino community provided a presentation that provided information about the resources available to students within the Latino community at the university.

Additionally, students asked questions that helped them understand what college would be like.

I appreciate Mrs. Reyes and Mrs. Capellan for attending and helping during the field trip.

Thank you very much!
