Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are delighted to welcome you and your families to the Paterson Charter School for Science & Technology!
For those who may not be familiar, PTO stands for the Parent-Teacher Organization. Our goal is to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment by fostering strong parent involvement. We also strive to build a strong school community where teachers, administrators, and parents can collaborate effectively. If you ever have difficulty reaching a teacher or administrator, have a concern, idea, or complaint, please reach out to your PTO President or Advisor—we are here to guide you in the right direction.
Through our fundraising efforts, the PTO provides scholarships, supports school activities, funds parent events, assists families in need, and helps advance the school’s mission.
Parental involvement is essential for the PTO’s success. We understand that many parents have busy schedules and may not be able to attend every meeting or be present on campus during the day. However, there are countless ways to contribute! Whether you can spare 30 minutes or a few hours, your time, ideas, and talents are invaluable. Please consider volunteering or attending a meeting—your involvement truly makes a difference in the lives of our children!
