PCSST Academies

At Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (PCSST), we believe education should be more than just coursework. It should prepare students for real careers, meaningful college experiences, and lifelong success. That’s why we’re proud of our PCSST Academies, a dynamic program that empowers students in grades 9–12 to specialize in fields they’re passionate about.

The PCSST Academies offer a rigorous, career-focused learning experience rooted in STEM and the Humanities. Through these academies, students develop leadership and technical skills both inside and outside the classroom, supported by PCSST teachers and industry experts.

Why Join the Academies?

Here are a few of the key benefits:

  • Career Pathway: The program is designed to lay the groundwork for professional and academic success, helping students get a head start on future careers.

  • Real-World Learning: Students don’t just learn theory — they engage in hands-on projects, reflect in real settings, and work with field professionals.

  • College Credits:  Students earn college credit at no additional cost through partnerships with New Jersey colleges, universities, and professional organizations,
