KEAN Theatre Trip ELA
We went to Kean University to see the play Antigone. The theme of the set and of the play was Dune, and the college students’ performance was incredible. Our AP Literature students can use this play as a reference on their AP exam, and the freshmen just finished reading the play in class. Our students asked questions during the Q&A afterwards, and for many of them, it was their first time on Kean’s campus. Some of the seniors were debating whether they should apply there after the play. We discussed how the ancient Greek play connects to the themes of today, and it was an excellent experience!
