PCSST Announces New Dual Enrollment Partnership with Montclair State University
Paterson, NJ, January 20, 2026, PCSST is proud to announce the newest addition to its College and Career Readiness Program through a Dual Enrollment partnership with Montclair State University, offering eligible students the opportunity to enroll in Public Speaking at the collegiate level.
This innovative partnership distinguishes itself from previous Dual Enrollment offerings by providing transportation to and from Montclair State University for 20 participating students, fully funded by PCSST. While on campus, scholars are granted full access to university resources, mirroring the experience of newly accepted undergraduate students and allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the college environment.
PCSST’s mission is to graduate literate, responsible, and self-directed citizens. In support of this mission, PCSST launched its Dual Enrollment Program in 2012, initially partnering with Monroe College and Passaic County Community College. Since then, the program has continued to evolve, expanding its vision to include graduating scholars who earn both an Associate’s Degree and a High School Diploma.
This goal directly aligns with PCSST’s commitment to empowering students to develop critical thinking skills, act responsibly, and take ownership of their educational journeys. Today, PCSST proudly partners with ten colleges and universities, providing students with access to rigorous college-level coursework and the opportunity to earn college credits, complementing the school’s robust Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors offerings.
In addition to Dual Enrollment, PCSST’s College & Career Readiness Program further prepares scholars for life beyond high school through Professional Certification Programs and Community-Based Instruction (CBI), which offers real-world learning experiences and exposure to career pathways.
The partnership with Montclair State University marks another significant milestone in PCSST’s ongoing efforts to ensure students graduate prepared for college, careers, and lifelong success.
