Battle of the Classes

On the half day before Thanksgiving break we at the 8-12 campus planned a couple of fun activities for the students. During their P.E classes the Marines came to visit with one of our alumni to host a pull up competition. Staff Sergeant Bias and Matthew Ramos came ready to challenge our different grade levels. The competition was to hit 200 pull ups using 10 students as a team. Whichever team did it in the least amount of time, won the challenge. In the end the Seniors took the win!

At the end of the day we celebrated the end of a marking period and the beginning of a new one with our annual Battle of the Classes. Students signed up and created teams to participate in “Dodgeball”. The games were extremely fun to watch and the student body were cheering on their classmates. We had teachers join in and everyone had a great time. In the end the Junior class took home the win against the Freshman team.
