Students visited the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, a famous institution established in 1869. They saw artifacts from civilizations and regions that they have been studying throughout the year, as well as plenty of specimens from the museum’s extensive animal collection that tie directly into cross-curricular content we have been working with centered around biodiversity and climate change. Students also got the chance to see dinosaur fossils and to weigh themselves as they would weigh on other planets!
