PATERSON CHARTER SCHOOL FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY 4-7

4-7 Campus

Wellness Day

On September 26th, 2025, the 4-7 campus hosted our annual Healthy U Assembly. During this assembly, our physical education and health department discussed the dangers of childhood obesity, the importance of exercise, and also taught the students how to “Use the Light to Eat Right” (make healthy food choices).
After the presentation, some 4th and 5th-grade students got to participate in a “Kahoot” relay race, which tested them on the information that was shared with them.
At the conclusion of the assembly, our physical education/health teachers reminded the students of their health pledges that they made to themselves in health class, and also discussed the importance of motivation in order to achieve their goals.
