Waves Against Hunger: A Huge Success!

Our Wave Maker Gifted & Talented students did something amazing on March 28th! They planned and executed Waves Against Hunger, a multicultural food festival featuring over 20 international cuisines, all to fight food insecurity in our community.

The students raised $1,921 for Oasis—A Haven for Women & Children, which equals 7,684 meals for families in need! They also collected non-perishable items and delivered fresh food to Eva’s Village in Paterson at the end of the event.

This success was only possible through incredible collaboration. Parents and staff donated authentic dishes from cultures around the world. The school community came together to support our students’ vision. From planning to execution, students demonstrated true leadership and perseverance.

Thank you to everyone who donated food, volunteered, purchased tickets, and supported our Wave Makers. You helped our students make a real difference while learning what authentic project management looks like!
