Honoring Life and Memory

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is one of the most meaningful celebrations in the Hispanic world. Countries such as Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, and many other Spanish-speaking nations commemorate this important tradition from October 27 through November 2.

Our 6th-grade students created beautiful projects in which they remembered their loved ones — family members or famous Hispanic figures who left a lasting mark on our culture. Many students also chose to honor people who inspire them to be better individuals. Through these activities, students were able to express themselves freely and connect deeply with their heritage.
