Shooting for the Stars

September was the exciting beginning of our Shooting for the Stars school wide Reading
Challenge which will run through the end of the school year! 66 Reading Awards were presented
to the top three Readers in each homeroom in grades 4-7 at the Wabash campus.
The Reader Leader winners were called to the main lobby to receive their September reading
awards and have their picture taken. October begins our exciting "KICK-OFF Celebration!
The top three readers in each homeroom receive Reading Awards plus the 1st Place Reader
Leader receives an awesome READERS are LEADERS T-Shirt! Wonderful surprises are
planned for the end of each marking period – lotteries, gift cards,  t-shirts, and the chance to win
one of  the three available certificates to host an end of year homeroom party. “The more that
you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
