School Violence Awareness

During School Violence Awareness Week, our school counselors conducted an engaging and meaningful assembly focused on promoting kindness, respect, and empathy among students. The assembly began with a video on bullying that highlighted the emotional and physical effects it can have on others, encouraging everyone to speak up and support one another. Afterwards, students participated in the “Wrinkled Heart” activity, where we learned that once hurtful words or actions are said, they can leave lasting marks—just like wrinkles in a paper heart that can’t be fully smoothed out. School Violence Awareness Week is dedicated to educating students about the impact of violence and bullying while promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment for everyone.
