4-7 Grade Read Across America Week Celebrations, 3/02-06/2026
We had an amazing time celebrating Read Across America Week in 4-7! Our special guest, “The Cat,” joined us to highlight the joy and importance of reading! During ROAR time, “The Cat” greeted our students and visited the K-1 and 2-3 buildings, reading stories to our PCSST scholars.
Each day was packed with fun activities, like wearing college apparel, dressing up as future professionals, sharing our cultural heritage, and of course, dressing as our favorite storybook characters!
We loved having guest readers from our admin team, guidance staff, teachers, and security join us to share their favorite books across all grade levels and genres. A special shout-out to Dr. Miceli for coming back to read with us! Mr. DeBose’s mentor group also made a visit to the K-1 and 2-3 schools to read to the little ones.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, and a special cheer for “The Cat” for making this week so memorable!
