Muslim Heritage Month Celebration

In May 2023, Governor Murphy signed a proclamation designating January as Muslim Heritage Month in New Jersey. This month serves as a meaningful occasion to celebrate the diverse Muslim community and the core values of respect, unity, and peace that define Islam. It’s a time to acknowledge and honor the significant contributions of Muslim Americans to the nation’s culture, history, and progress. This event offered a chance to explore the rich history, accomplishments, and stories of American Muslims.
