The topic of the contest was “I Have a Dream, Too!,” where students answered the question, “What is your dream for a better future?” in the style of MLK’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Twenty-four contestants from grades 4-7 competed in the contest and shared their dreams for a better future by tackling topics such as bullying, pollution, gun violence, terrorism, injustice, economic equality, etc. The winner of the contest was Kenan Alomari.
