Martin Luther King Contest at Wabash Campus

On Friday, January 17th, 2025, PCSST held its annual MLK Speech Contest. The topic of the contest was “I Have a Dream for Paterson!,” where students answered the following question, “What is one thing you love about Paterson, and what is one thing you would change in order to make Patterson better?” in the style of MLK’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Twelve contestants from grades 4-7 competed in the contest and shared their dreams about our community by tackling topics such as homelessness, poverty, bullying, pollution, safety, etc. The winner of the contest was our 6th grader Rangelin Fernandez. Second place went to Kenan Alomari, and Kaiden Gerton was third.
