Welcome to the Language Arts Department’s web-page.
The mission of the ELA department in grades 4-7 is to inspire a lifelong love for reading, empower student voices through expressive and structured writing, and build critical communication skills necessary for academic success and beyond.
Our ELA curriculum aligns with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS), ensuring that students develop rigorous grade-level competencies across reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and language mechanics.
