Welcome to Paterson Charter School For Science And Technology
Paterson Charter School For Science And Technology (PCSST) opened in the 2003-2004 academic year. PCSST is sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Education. PCSST aims to prepare students for academic success in their future education and to enable students to keep open a broad spectrum of options for their future endeavors. Our goal is to educate and prepare our students for their future education and adulthood.
   

 What is a Charter School?
A charter school is a public school that operates independently of the district board of education under a charter granted by the Commissioner. A charter school is a corporate entity with all the powers needed to carry out its charter program. 
 
 Our vision & mission
PCSST aims to be an environment of learning and continuous growth for students, parents and teachers to reach their highest potential. Educational success can only be realized when students, parents and teachers work in harmony.
 Why PCSST?
PCSST provides the education to its students that will have them test above the Public Schools. That is why we prepare students by challenging them with a curriculum that not only meets state standards, but stimulates creative thinking. Our goal is to provide the kind of environment that will assure our students will graduate and be admitted to college.
